Job Description

You will be joining one of our most strategic initiatives to build a cloud-based software-as-a-service unified security solution supporting access control, video, and monitoring capabilities. As part of the engineering team, you will work in a continuous delivery environment and contribute to features that directly impact our customers daily.

The Advanced Software Engineer will participate in feature planning and design sessions, architect and implement software solutions, assist with test plans and documentation, and maintain those solutions. This position produces significant results through technical leadership and the building of strong coaching/mentoring peer relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong functional programming skills.

This is a hybrid working schedule (2 days from home and 3 days from the office).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust multi-tenant cloud solutions

  • Leverage persona-based development to ensure our products meet customers’ needs

  • Work within a full stack cross-functional delivery team to deliver incremental customer-facing features

  • Designing, developing, testing, and demoing as needed withing a delivery team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related major; significant technical experience can be substituted (master’s degree desired)

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience developing modern web applications or cloud services ( Azure, AWS, GCP) and serverless architecture

  • Mastery of modern JavaScript frameworks and tools such as Node.js, React.js, and Webpack

  • Familiarity with continuous integration practices, unit testing, automated integration testing, distributed systems, network security, automation tools, and system analysis

  • Extensive experience building RESTful web services and scalable solutions with zero-downtime deployment

  • Excellent English and Polish written and verbal communication skills
