Job Description: HPE is looking for an IT Infrastructure Technical Consultant Are you passionate about IT infrastructure and ready to grow your career with one of the leading global technology providers? Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Norway is hiring an IT Infrastructure Technical Consultant, who will work with modern enterprise technologies for a company that values deep technical expertise, continuous learning, and innovation. In this role, you will bring hands-on experience in datacenter infrastructure and the ability to operate effectively in both local and global delivery models, collaborating with HPE remote delivery hubs, sales, architects, customers, partners and other suppliers/vendors. A proactive, adaptable mindset and strong communication skills are essential to navigate in our dynamic operating environment. Although based in Norway/Oslo office, and most of the work can expected to be done locally/&remotely, you will be part of the Nordic-North organization providing opportunities also to engage across the region (and even beyond). This position requires strong technical drive and a commitment to continuous professional development. The candidate must demonstrate deep knowledge and hands-on experience in compute and storage technologies, including relevant operating systems. Experience with networking, backup, and cloud solutions is considered an advantage. The role requires professional-level language skills in both Norwegian and English. The selected candidate must be willing and eligible to undergo appropriate Norwegian security clearance successfully. Main Responsibilities: Provide technical consulting to external and internal customers and partners and different delivery teams Coordinate and lead implementations and deployments of new infrastructure, including solution design and migration activities for infrastructure-related projects Provide planning, design and presales support for the development of complex datacenter solutions Act as a trusted advisor and establish, develop, and maintain long-term customer relationships Continuously maintain and expand technical expertise in leading technologies and relevant industry/market domains Understand technologies and trends related to Linux-based computing Install, configure, and deploy compute- and storage-based platforms and datacenter solutions for the selected customers Install, configure, and deploy VMware & Linux -based platforms and technologies for the selected customers Education and Experience Required: 5+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (8+ years in total).
