HPE Cray System Management ( CSM ) is a manageability platform engineered over Kubernetes that runs microservices and cloud technologies for provisioning , configuring , monitoring and maintaining of large-scale HPC systems .CSM is built with open architecture leveraging open source tools and products that also gives flexibility to customer to extend or harden to meet his needs . We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to support the Build, Integration, and Continuous Delivery activities for the Cray System Management (CSM) platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). What you'll do: Responsibilities: Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Manage build, integration, and release activities for the CSM software stack. Support source code management practices using GitHub, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release management. Automate software build, testing, packaging, and deployment workflows. Monitor and troubleshoot build failures, integration issues, and deployment problems. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation scripts. Support container image creation, vulnerability scanning, and artifact management. Collaborate with development teams to improve build reliability, quality gates, and deployment efficiency. Support Kubernetes-based deployments and environment management on GCP. Implement and maintain DevOps best practices, including security, observability, and automation. Participate in release planning, integration testing, and production readiness activities. Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guides. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce build times and improve deployment reliability. What you need to bring: Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Typically 6-10 years experience. Knowledge and Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins pipeline development and administration. Strong experience with Git and GitHub. Familiarity with Git workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, and merge management. Experience managing GitHub Action Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes. Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills. Understanding of software supply chain security. Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
