About the role
Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
Direct experience working with high-voltage DC systems and components (e.g., batteries, motors, generators).
Hands-on experience with HV systems, including proper safety procedures and precautions.
Strong working knowledge of aerospace systems engineering practices, including requirements development, verification and validation, component qualification and acceptance testing, system diagramming/modeling, and risk management.
Experience executing hardware test and certification campaigns.
Proficiency with relevant software tools and programming languages such as Python, Capital Harness, Siemens NX/Teamcenter, and Altium Designer.
Experience with simulation and test tools (e.g., Fluke process meters, ammeters, Simulink, ANSYS).
Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-620, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-464D, and DO-160G.
Demonstrated project experience designing high power (>5kw) electronic components and or distributed systems
Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
Experience working with avionics devices and communication protocols (CAN bus, RS-422, ARINC 825) and connectors (e.g., D38999).
Strong ability to collaborate across mechanical and electrical engineering domains.
Proven experience contributing to engineering project teams in fast-paced environments.
