Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibilityrequirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S.citizenship is required.

As an Integration and Test engineer for GDMS Range Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for supporting the JMRC CTC-IS for military Live Training in Hohenfels, Germany.

Key Responsibilities would include:

Supporting systems integration and software test activities for instrumentation systems used across the environment

Coordinating software release and installation, execution, and documentation in alignment with program requirements

Interfacing with hardware and software components to diagnose and resolve integration issues in the field

Supporting verification and validation efforts to ensure system readiness for training operations

Collaborating with on-site team members, Site maintainer personnel, and customer stakeholders at JMRC

Working successfully within a team, the Senior Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. This will entail assisting in the following areas:

Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools

Development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products

Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems

Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing

What sets you apart:

Familiarity with the CTC Instrumentation Systems (JMRC, JRTC, NTC, JPMRC-IS,HITS or similar CTC instrumentation) and the Common Training Instrumentation Architecture (CTIA) is preferred

What you bring to the table:

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree

Solid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories

Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
