Systems Engineer

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibilityrequirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S.citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

Role AND Position Objectives

As a systems engineer for NorthStar, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing assured PNT solutions for warfighters operating in GPS-denied environements.

Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation including design plans, installation plans, test procedures, and engineering drawings in accordance with program standards

Coordinate with government customers, subcontractors, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project milestones and technical objectives are met

Conduct engineering analysis of system designs and provide recommendations to resolve technical issues and mitigate risks

Support engineering review boards, design reviews (PDR, CDR, ERB, MCB), and technical briefings
