Job Description Summary The Enterprise Architect leads the architecture, build, and operation of High-Performance Computing (HPC) platforms on AWS Cloud, driving deployment efficiency, platform reliability, and AI-enabled optimization. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Design, build and run HPC platforms on AWS Cloud. Engineer and maintain software configuration, deployment, and automation processes Troubleshoot and resolve recurring platform issues with scalable, long-term solutions Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency Use AI/ML-driven approaches to optimize infrastructure utilization, workload performance, and operations Collaborate with engineering, cloud, and operations teams to deliver robust HPC solutions Deliver architecture roadmaps and projects to fulfill product rollout needs and business driven outcomes Contribute to long term architecture and implementation of GE Vernova Compute strategy. Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction. Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint. Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities. Coach and mentor team members. Education Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience6years Qualifications 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, or systems architecture Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud environments - (EC2, EFS, S3, Networking) Strong background in Linux administration, automation, and software deployment Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and configuration management Knowledge of HPC schedulers, storage, and networking Proven ability to identify root causes and solve systemic technical issues Familiarity with applying AI/ML techniques for optimization and operational improvement Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Leadership: • Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organization • Foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates. • Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel. • Demonstrated Change Management /Acceleration capabilities • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills • Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes Addressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority and we take our responsibility seriously.
