We are looking for Engineering Professionals to join the FACTS Solution Line team. The position will be based in Noida, India with remote working flexibility. You will be working on cutting edge technology and varied international high-profile projects. In this position, you will be reporting to Engineering Manager – System Design, Noida office and it can be considered a top priority position to perform in a critical engineering discipline for overall FACTS business. Engineering & Technical Responsibilities: Perform detailed power system studies for STATCOM and FACTS projects. Perform following: Insulation coordination studies Hamonic analysis and harmonic filter design Temporary and transient overvoltage studies Switching transient studies Develop and validate simulation models for: STATCOM SVC Prepare detailed technical reports, study documents, and customer presentations. Coordinate with control, protection, primary engineering, and commissioning teams. Interface with utilities, consultants, and customers for technical discussions and approval. Software Expertise Required for STATCOM Projects: PSCAD PSSE Dig SILENT Power Factory MATLAB / Simulink PRSIM Additional exposure to, RTDS, EMTDC, EMTP-RV, or hardware-in-loop testing will be an added advantage. Qualifications/Requirements: 6 – 10 years of relevant experience in Power System Studies. Minimum 2 years of experience specifically in STATCOM/FACTS projects. Experience in utility scale grid integration and EHV substations preferred. BTech/MTech/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering preferably in Power System. Experience from Substation/Grid system design solutions, e.g. FACTS, HVDC. Fluent written and oral skills in English. Strong prioritizing and time management skills. Desired Characteristics: Strong understanding of FACTS and Power Electronics applications. Deep knowledge in IEC/IEEE/CIGRE standards related to harmonics and insulation coordination. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. Experience of handling global utility/customers’ requirements. Exposure to Indian Grid Code, CEA regulations, and international utility standards preferred. Desire to work in international environment.
