Job Description Essential Responsibilities: -Ultrasound system architect design, interface design, schematic design, etc. --Support upstream product management and segment R&D to work out “for China” product pipeline and new product concept -Deliver technical solutions per China needed features, products, & solutions. It may include in-house innovation and 3rd party cooperation -Perform as technical expert in China NPI projects -Coach and mentor US China innovation & localization team to develop the engineering community in process, career growth and technical excellence
Qualifications/Requirements
-MS above majoring in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Biomedical engineering, or equivalent field. PhD preferred. -10+ years working experience in ultrasound research & development. -Tracking record for the contribution to China ultrasound NPI launch successfully -Specialized in 1 (or some) ultrasound critical field, e.g., IQ, ATD features, probes… -Understand China ultrasound technology trend and China local ecosystem, e.g., competitor, AI, ATD features, etc. -Ability to generate innovative ideas and drive for technical solutions -Ability to effectively present information to project and functional management and to customers, subcontractors, and suppliers -Ability to synthesize information from different engineering disciplines -Knowledge of NPI process, manufacturing process, RAQA, etc. -Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and collaborative skills
Desired Characteristics: -PhD in Electrical Engineering. Biomedical engineering or equivalent -15+ years of experience in design & development in Acoustic or RF for imaging medical device company -Demonstrated capability and experience with value engineering, design to value, cost analysis and process -Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task -Open, adaptive and flexible to quickly merge to new team
