WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING A Software Engineer researches, analyzes, various 802.11 traffic and subsequently designs, authors, enhances, verifies, and releases high-quality operational software which satisfies mission and foundational requirements. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required, and seven(7) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and projects of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Key skills in: C++, User interface development (Flutter, QT, etc), 802.11, Matlab, DSP Familiarity with in and out of band Wifi standards and protocols a plus Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required Specific duties include: Implement development in a tailored agile methodology, utilizing GitLab for build/merges Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components Clearly communicating in a team environment with fellow engineers, stakeholders, and customers Estimate, decompose, and implement iterative tasks, automated tests, and routine builds, in a team environment GDIT IS YOUR PLACE At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
