Responsibilities

Under general direction and in alignment with ASP policies and applicable regulations:
Design, develop, and implement embedded software modules
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Debug and resolve software issues across embedded platforms.
Conduct performance analysis and optimization of embedded systems.
Review code and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Interface with departments including Quality, Service, and R&D.
Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Apply verification techniques such as static analysis and code coverage to ensure software quality.
Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Mandatory

BE (CS / IS), MTech (CS with specialization in IOT / Cloud / Data Analytics / AIML)
Hands-on experience in embedded system software development. It could be through academic projects or internships for fresh UGs/PGs
Must have had little experience in getting IoT use cases involved with REST API, MQTT, HTTP
Must have had a course and hands-on AI/ML, Data Science
Proficiency in C/C++ and working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
Solid understanding of microcontrollers and real-time operating systems.
Familiarity with development tools (IDEs, debuggers, version control).
Exposure to electronics lab tools like oscilloscopes and analyzers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication.

Preferrable

Experience with Yocto Linux or similar embedded Linux platforms.
Understanding of software architecture and design principles.
Familiarity with configuration management (Eg: GitHub)
Prior experience in regulated environments such as medical devices.
