Job Description: Job Title: Principal, Full Stack Engineer The Purpose of This Role Fidelity’s Corporate Services Technology group is seeking a tech‑savvy individual contributor with expertise in the Workday platform and Workday integration development. The role is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing support of the Workday Core platform, Workday Extend solutions, and custom integrations. By enabling seamless integration with third‑party systems and delivering new features and enhancements, this position strengthens the platform’s functionality, stability, and overall business value. The individual will also support cross‑functional collaboration, resolve technical issues, and stay current with emerging technologies to fully leverage Workday’s capabilities and meet the evolving needs of customers and stakeholders. The Value You Deliver In this hands‑on Workday Platform & Integration Development role, you will design, build, and maintain integrations and implement capabilities like Workday Extend and Adaptive. You will collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. As a Workday Developer, you will create business‑focused integrations for SaaS platforms, partnering with architects, squad leads, scrum teams, and stakeholders while providing guidance to team members to ensure successful delivery. Responsibilities of the role includes. Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations and platform configurations by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Build and support integrations between Workday and third‑party systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and seamless data flow. Troubleshoot and resolve platform or integration issues, while proactively managing production stability, risks, and escalations. Participate in end‑to‑end integration development—requirements, design, technical specifications, development, testing (integration/UAT), and deployment. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver secure, scalable, and robust business solutions. Stay current with Workday releases, platform updates, and industry trends to maximize platform capabilities. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to support team growth and delivery excellence. Contribute to planning, design, and integration of IT product releases, partnering with architects and technical leads as required. undefined The Skills and Expertise we are Looking For Technical BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA/MCA from an accredited institution with 12+ years of full‑stack software development experience building scalable applications. Workday Certified with minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Workday Integrations, including Studio, Core Connectors, Boomerang, PECI/WECI, EIBs, Custom Reports, APIs, Worksheets, and OX‑based migration/deployment. Strong expertise in Workday Extend app development, Adaptive Planning, Workday Security (tenant & integration), and Workday SSO for desktop and mobile. Solid engineering background with proficiency in Java, REST API development, API gateways, and modern UI frameworks such as Angular. Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, ELB, Lambda, RDS, EFS, S3, etc.) and observability tools like CloudWatch and Datadog. Proven experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Concourse, Git, Artifactory) and strong focus on testing and automation. Familiarity with SaaS platforms and effective vendor management for ongoing support and issue resolution. Behavioral Experienced and comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban). Strong engineering background with the ability to build scalable, maintainable multi‑tier applications. Strategic problem solver with curiosity, collaboration mindset, and enthusiasm for fast, iterative development and paired programming. Open to direction and standards while remaining comfortable with ambiguity and exploring innovative solutions. Strong focus on automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Effective communicator who enjoys understanding the business context behind the applications.
