Job Description: Job Title: Principal – Full Stack Engineer The Purpose of This Role Are you an experienced software engineer with a passion for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience. Also experience in data, databases and data governance and wants to be a part of a collaborative team environment where you will have wealth of opportunities to innovate and have intellectual curiosity to learn, a career in Customer Data and Marketing Technology (CDMT) in Fidelity's Wealth group may be right for you! This role will include the opportunity to learn to do development on AWS and Snowflake, exciting new technologies that continues to expand across the industry. We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to be part of an exciting and fast-paced team focused on designing and implementing an advanced Data Governance and Data quality monitoring capability that supports Fidelity Wealth and Brokerage. This position is responsible for understanding and translating business requirements into a sustainable and scalable solution. You will be part of a team that builds and drive adoption of state-of-the-art tools, UI applications, platforms and processes which enables the business group to rapidly implement data governance practices, significantly improve data quality, accelerate data usage with proper risks and controls that results in faster insights which gives competitive advantage to the firm. As part of the role, you will be collaborating with technical, analytical, and business stakeholders across the firm. Delivering system automation by setting up continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines The Skills that are Key to this role Technical / Behavioral 10+ years of application development experience in Python and experience using Python libraries/frameworks like Pandas, Numpy, Django for data processing and analytics. Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and Data Structures Experience with Front end technologies JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VueJS, Angular Experience in building RESTful API/Microservices in private and public cloud (AWS,Iaas,Paas,Saas) Experience with SQL and any Relational Database systems like Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL Experience with AWS, Snowflake and Cloud technologies is a must Exposure to AI/ML & LLM Tools will be good Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, GIT, Stash, Ansible, Docker, Jira) is a must. Good working knowledge of Fidelity paved path solutions is a must Experience in Data Governance and Data Quality. Experience with Alation and Collibra platforms. Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) and good understanding of SDLC. Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities. Ability to think out of box and design end-to-end solutions Passion and intellectually curiosity to learn new technologies and business areas Exploring new technology trends and leveraging them to simplify our data ecosystem Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver technology solutions for the business needs Good communication and presentation skills should be able to interact and influence stakeholders like chapter lead, squad lead, teammates, architects, support teams and users.
