Job Description
As a Fractional Solution Architect, you will serve as a strategic advisor and technical leader, working across projects to define solution architectures that balance performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure technology choices align with organizational goals. This position is ideal for experienced professionals who can provide high-impact contributions on a flexible basis.
Responsibilities
- Define and document solution architectures for key projects and initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and platforms to meet business needs.
- Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or enterprise systems.
- Proven expertise in designing scalable, cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong knowledge of application integration, APIs, microservices, and data platforms.
- Experience with security frameworks, compliance standards, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fractional/part-time capacity while delivering high-value outcomes.
- Track record of influencing technology decisions and driving successful implementations.
