Job Description

The Vice President of Data Science will lead the data science team and drive the strategic direction of transformation initiatives across the Health and Life sciences operations teams. This role involves opportunity identificaiton, leveraging advanced analytics and data-driven insights to drive decision-making, and managing a team of data scientists to achieve business goals. Key Responsibilities: Define, execute, and lead the data science strategy in line with the company vision, goals, and objectives. Establish data science initiatives to drive revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize costs. Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Partner with senior executives and other analytics teams to define project scopes and integrate data science across the organization. Manage the budget, establish project timelines, and define KPIs and metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of data science initiatives. Provide direction and guidance to a high-performing data science team, regularly assessing and sharing updates on team performance. Qualifications: Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proven experience in a senior data science role, preferably in healthcare Strong command of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI applications. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with data governance and compliance. Preferred Skills: Experience with data science tools and platforms such as Python, R, SQL, and big data technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically. Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
