A Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. They play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment, and ongoing support. Essential Functions: Design, code, and test software features and components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements. Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues. Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards. Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training. 3+ years of experience in software development. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Swift, JavaScript, or similar. Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent teamwork and communication abilities. Remote and Hybrid Positions For remote and hybrid positions you will be required to provide reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection as well as a place in your home to work with limited disruption. You must have reliable connectivity from an internet service provider that is fiber, cable or DSL internet. Other necessary computer equipment will be provided.
