About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in building services to lead and manage electrical design and implementation for commercial, residential, and mixed-use building projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will oversee project teams, ensure compliance with local and international standards, and drive innovation in electrical systems design

Lead the design, development, and review of electrical systems for buildings, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, security, and emergency systems.

Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and training.

Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to budgets.

Oversee the preparation and review of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for electrical installations.

Coordinate and collaborate with architects and other disciplines to integrate electrical solutions into building designs.

Ensure strict compliance with UAE building codes, DEWA/ADWEA regulations, and international standards (IEC, NEC).

Perform advanced load calculations, energy analysis, and recommend innovative, energy-efficient solutions.

Liaise with authorities, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.

Keep abreast of the latest technologies, software, and trends in building electrical systems and recommend improvements.

Participate in tendering, contract negotiations, and client presentations

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering for building services, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role. UAE project experience is essential.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, Revit (MEP), ETAP, Dialux, and other relevant design software for building applications.

Extensive knowledge of UAE building codes and electrical regulations.

Proven experience in lighting design, power distribution, and low voltage systems in large-scale building projects.

Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
