The Impact you will have in this role

  • Contribute to the successful delivery of business-critical initiatives by executing assigned tasks with quality and timeliness.
  • Support the design, development, and enhancement of systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, technology, and operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Uphold governance, risk, and compliance standards while ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Proactively build knowledge of domain, platforms, and tools to enhance individual contribution and team outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success

  • Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, including warehouses, clustering, partitioning, and query execution concepts
  • Hands-on experience or foundational knowledge in SQL query optimization and performance tuning
  • Ability to analyze query profiles, execution plans, and warehouse usage to identify performance and cost improvement opportunities
  • Awareness of FinOps principles, including cost monitoring, resource utilization, and optimization strategies
  • Proficiency in data engineering concepts such as ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and batch/stream processing
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and data ecosystem tools (e.g., Python, Snowpark, Kafka, or similar technologies)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data trends, identify anomalies, and provide actionable insights
  • Experience or awareness of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance requirements (especially in financial services environments)
  • Effective collaboration skills to work across platform teams, product teams, and business stakeholders
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to drive execution in a fast-paced, delivery-oriented environment
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay current with Snowflake features, performance optimization techniques, and cloud best practices
