Job Title Mechanical Engineer Job Description Summary Operate, maintain, and fix issues in mechanical and cooling systems at the data center during assigned shifts. Ensure cooling meets required temperature standards and all work is performed safely and according to procedures Job Description About the role:
Monitor and operate cooling systems (chillers, FWUs, CRAC units, pumps, and HVAC). Ensure hot aisle containment is intact and temperatures stay within the 25°C target. Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs using the CMMS system. Respond to urgent cooling issues within 15 minutes; fix faults or switch to backup systems as needed. Manage water treatment and chemical dosing for cooling systems. Follow Permit-to-Work and Lock-Out/Tag-Out safety procedures. Record all activities, alarms, and incidents during shift handovers. Support vendor visits and document their work. Assist in testing and commissioning activities (e.g., chiller failover, pump tests). Maintain water treatment logs and reports.
About You
At least 5 years of mechanical experience in data centers or similar environments. Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering. Experience with chillers, FWUs, CRAC units, BMS systems, and water treatment. Familiar with Carrier/Daikin systems and Honeywell/Schneider BMS. Ability to work in English; Thai language required. Thai mechanical/refrigeration license is a plus.
