Job Summary
The Technical Lead & SME – Aftermarket ERP Power Cell is responsible for providing end-to-end application functionality, configuration, and technical leadership for enterprise application solutions. This role partners with business analysts, architects, technical teams, and vendors to design, implement, support, maintain, and enhance application capabilities.
The position serves as the technical owner and subject matter expert for the Aftermarket ERP landscape, leading product engineering, architecture, and technical delivery while ensuring solutions align with business objectives, enterprise standards, and technology roadmaps. The role also drives complex transformation initiatives and provides leadership across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions.

- Lead product engineering, architecture, and technical delivery for the Aftermarket ERP product landscape.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point and provide leadership across ERP applications and related technologies.
- Analyze application functionality and recommend improvements to optimize business processes and increase utilization of standard capabilities.
- Define, document, configure, and validate application setups to meet functional and technical requirements.
- Identify functionality gaps and recommend suitable application solutions and enhancements.
- Partner with business stakeholders, process owners, architects, and technical teams to gather and translate requirements into functional designs and technical solutions.
- Create and manage functional specifications for projects, programs, and application enhancements.
- Drive technical execution of large-scale transformation initiatives and enterprise programs.
- Guide Agile teams on cross-system impacts, integration dependencies, and end-to-end solution design considerations.
- Establish consistency in solution architecture, integration patterns, development standards, and overall solution quality.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to improve application capabilities and resolve issues.
- Support solution design, configuration, validation testing, and implementation activities while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and governance requirements.
- Provide expertise in emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Solution Functional Fit Analysis - Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
Solution Modeling - Creates, designs and formulates models, diagrams and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
Solution Validation Testing - Validates a configuration item change or solution using the Function's defined best practices, including the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, tools and metrics, to ensure that it works as designed and meets customer requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Additional certifications or licensing may be required based on export controls or regulatory requirements.

Experience Required
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in ERP applications and enterprise technology environments.
- Extensive experience in aftermarket ERP processes, including:
- Master Data Management
- Order Management
- Shipping & Transportation
- Purchasing
- Inventory Management
- BOM / Work Order Management
- Finance Processes
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Oracle SQL
- Oracle Forms/Reports
- Unix
- AppWorx
- ServiceNow
- Integration technologies including EDI and Oracle Middleware
- Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams and managing multiple concurrent workstreams in Agile environments.
- Experience designing, documenting, and validating complex ERP integrations and solution architectures within large-scale enterprise ecosystems.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting large-scale logistics or warehouse implementation programs.
- Experience modernizing or optimizing ERP platforms within aftermarket or supply chain organizations.
- Experience leading strategic transformation programs and enterprise-wide initiatives.
