Applications Development Senior Manager, Vice President

We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Senior Java Technical Lead for the Citi Funds Transfer Pricing (CitiFTP) platform. The ideal candidate will be a techno-functional expert with deep domain knowledge in Funds Transfer Pricing and a strong technical background. You will drive the modernization and expansion of the platform's common services, ensuring robust, scalable, and timely delivery of key initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Technical Lead for the front-end and common services workstream, driving its modernization and expansion.

• Lead architectural and design decisions for foundational platform components.

• Write clean, efficient, and production-ready code for core platform services.

• Develop and enhance core services, including APIs, web services and Spark frameworks

• Leverage modern AI tools and engineering practices to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality.

• Mentor team members, fostering technical growth and ensuring high-quality code delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on business-critical Finance, Treasury, and Regulatory initiatives.

• Ensure all solutions are aligned with Citi's SDLC, governance processes, and quality standards.

• Required Skills 10+ years of relevant experience in application development

• Domain knowledge on treasury and finance is a must

• Extensive and niche domain expertise in the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP).

• Strong, hands-on experience with Advanced Java and experience on Java Spark

• Strong, hands-on experience in Advanced Java is required, with foundational experience in Apache Spark

• Proven experience developing and managing robust APIs and web services.

• Proficiency with strategic Citi tools including Autosys, CyberArk, AppDynamics, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience using AI development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

• Proven experience in a technical leadership role with a track record of driving design and execution.

• Strong sense of ownership, execution discipline, and excellent cross-team collaboration skills.

• Deep understanding of enterprise-level SDLC and governance processes.

• Education Bachelor’s degree/University degree
