Job Details

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager to lead and manage testing activities across SAP modules (e.g., OTC, PTP, RTR etc). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP testing strategy, planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring high-quality delivery in SAP implementation or upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities Test strategy and planning: Define and implement the overall test strategy for SAP projects, covering phases like System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression testing. End-to-end SAP testing lifecycle management Expertise in SAP modules like OTC, RTR, PTP etc Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects Team leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of test leads, analysts, and automation engineers (onshore and offshore). Build team which include junior and senior resources. Test execution and coordination: Oversee the execution of test cases, manage test cycles, and coordinate efforts across various SAP modules Test strategy, planning, and execution System performance testing Defect management: Manage the defect lifecycle, including triage, and ensure all issues are tracked and resolved through defect tracking tools like JIRA etc Reporting and communication: Provide regular reports on test status, progress, and quality metrics to stakeholders and senior management. Quality assurance and governance: Establish and enforce testing standards and best practices across the organization

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience 15+ years of relevant experience in SAP Testing/ Planning and Execution Certification in any SAP module with cross functional experience. Should have experience handling large teams across different locations. Testing tools: Experience with SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and third-party tools like Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, or qTest. Methodologies: Knowledge of various testing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches. SAP knowledge: A strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.) and experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred. Soft skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are critical for success in this role. Certifications: PMP or equivalent certifications Basic understanding of SAP Basis and integrations Agile and Waterfall delivery models Team leadership and resource planning Risk and impact analysis Experience with UAT and cutover planning

Experience & Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 5+ years of directly-related or relevant experience with 2+ years in a managerial capacity, preferably in client software solutions design or management of IT Operations. Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) ITIL, ITSM Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Skills & Knowledge: Behavioral Skills: Coaching and Mentoring Collaboration Conflict Resolution Critical Thinking Detail Oriented People Management Presentation Skills Technical Skills: Enterprise IT Management Data Management Information Security Strategy IT Infrastructure Management Service Level Maintenance Standard Operating Procedure Design Tools Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite Business Intelligence Tools like Tableau, Power BI CRM platforms such as SAP, Salesforce Spine Mapping: M2 Priority: 2
