Apprentice Application Engineer

Program Overview This is a 1-year trainee program with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. The role focuses on supporting the Application Engineering and Sales teams through technical selections, quotations, customer support, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities Technical & Application Support Prepare technical selections, compliance statements, submittals, and quotations Handle enquiries using CRM & SAP systems Analyze project specifications, schedules, and HVAC requirements Support consultants and customers with suitable HVAC solutions Prepare technical comparison tables and schedules Coordination & Communication Coordinate with Sales Engineers, consultants, and internal teams Follow up on enquiries and project updates Attend technical meetings and customer/site visits when required Ensure timely responses aligned with KPIs Learning & Compliance Stay updated with product software, catalogs, and HVAC standards Attend assigned technical and ethics trainings Follow company EH&S and ISO procedures Maintain awareness of standards such as AHRI, EUROVENT, LEED, DGNB, and DEWA Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related HVAC field Preferred Skills Knowledge of HVAC systems and applied products Understanding of heat load calculations and technical selections Proficiency in: MS Office & Excel AutoCAD HVAC selection software SAP / CRM systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Team player with strong analytical skills Willingness to relocate within the UAE if required Key Competencies Integrity Customer Focus Analytical Thinking Teamwork Results Orientation Ownership & Accountability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Response time to enquiries Timely completion of assigned tasks Quality and accuracy of technical submissions Manager performance evaluation Our Commitment to You At Carrier, our greatest assets are the expertise, creativity, and passion of our employees.
