Job Description We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to support quality assurance efforts for enterprise systems, with a primary focus on Salesforce-based applications and data modernization initiatives. This position will be a contract role and is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in Trenton, NJ. What You’ll Do Create functional and non-functional test cases and acceptance criteria for Salesforce Lightning components, custom objects, and automated Flows

Execute functional, regression, and integration testing across Salesforce and external data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS)

Document and evaluate test results, maintaining detailed execution logs in Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

Detect, log, and report Salesforce-specific defects, including validation rule failures, permission set conflicts, and integration issues

Track defects and collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes in Salesforce sandbox environments

Develop test procedures, documentation, and training materials to support UAT and end-user testing

Identify and apply appropriate testing strategies, including manual versus automated testing methods (e.g., Playwright)

Partner with Salesforce Architects, Data Engineers, and other project team members to address security and customer-facing issues

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to ensure quality is embedded in the SDLC

Validate complex data migrations and real-time data synchronization to ensure data integrity

Test applications against accessibility standards (Section 508) and public-sector data privacy requirements

What You’ll Need

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance

  • 5+ years of manual testing experience (system, integration, regression)

  • 4+ years of Salesforce platform testing experience (Lightning, Flows, custom objects)

  • 5+ years working within Agile/Scrum environments

  • 5+ years of experience using defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM)

  • 5+ years of test case design and documentation experience

  • 3+ years of API testing experience using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools

  • Preferred: Experience with data validation and SQL (Snowflake or similar platforms)

  • Test automation experience with Playwright, Selenium, Copado, or similar tools

  • Experience supporting UAT coordination and business analysis activities

  • Familiarity with Salesforce sandbox management and test data setup

  • Experience working in public sector or highly regulated environments

  • Physical Demands Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
