Job Title: Senior Model Based Systems Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI seeks a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer (SME) for the MSSE Contract supporting DEVCOM C5ISR Center's Experimentation Division. This Key Personnel position leads the design, development, and integration of complex Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) simulation tools for large-scale Joint and Coalition exercises, providing realistic virtual battlefields for training, analysis, and system validation. By joining this team, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the U.S. and our allies’ ability to develop and apply models and simulations throughout the lifecycle of military and commercial technologies and systems. Your work will help ensure Warfighter readiness and the realization of future capabilities. Responsibilities: Lead LVC Simulation Development: Design and integrate complex simulation tools supporting Joint/Coalition exercises and multi-domain operations experimentations Develop M&S Solutions: Create models and scenarios for JTLS-GO, OneSAF, JSAF, WARSIM, EADSIM, MDASim, and other DoD platforms System Integration: Integrate simulation systems and C4I systems with LVC M&S tools ensuring seamless data exchange Technical Leadership: Provide direction to development teams; create technical roadmaps and strategic plans for simulation architecture Full Lifecycle Support: Support requirements analysis, tool development, VV&A, and post-event analysis CPX/FTX Support: Support Combatant Command level exercises Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, OR 12+ years’ experience in lieu of degree 8+ years in M&S engineering with deep with a deep understanding of LVC principles and their application in DOW technical programs. Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies and AI/ML integration in DoD programs Strong communication and presentation skills Active Secret Clearance Experience with the following: Joint Simulation Mastery: Advanced hands-on experience with JTLS-GO, JLCCTC, OneSAF, JSAF, WARSIM, EADSIM, MDASim including their use in Combatant Command level Command Post Exercises (CPXs) and Field Training Exercises (FTX) Simulation Interoperability: Proven ability integrating disparate simulation and C4I systems Technical Leadership: Experience directing development teams and presenting strategic plans Full M&S Lifecycle: Requirements analysis, tool development, VV&A, post-event analysis Desired: Master's degree or Ph.D. - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
