About the role
Professional experience in all aspects of TIBCO Spotfire development including Information designer and custom Python scripts. Strong conceptual understanding of relational database systems. Strong ability to understand analytic specifications, translate specifications into TIBCO Spotfire visualizations and /or underlying code. Experience with extracting and combining different data sources, different databases and data warehouses Strong ability to develop meaningful and consistent quality checks throughout the development process. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Experience in developing User Interfaces.
Specific Technical Skills ranked from most to least important, as follows C# and .NET Framework Development Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle, and Relational Databases Knowledge of Python or IronPython Scripting Tibco Spotfire and Web player Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing
Other Experience programming in R or S+ is a plus Requirement gathering Analyze/Understand the business requirements and provide suggestions to customer Design the report Knowledge of entire architecture (eg: interface to Database, .Net, SharePoint etc) vs. just having knowledge only on report part they worked Database queries
