ETL Developer (Informatica, Talend, Kettle)

Role and Responsibility

Hands on experience in working with industry known ETL tools e.g. Informatica, Talend, Kettle etc (Talend Preferred). Should be able to independently analyze and resolve production support issues within established Service Levels Team player - clearly communicates commitments, issues, completion dates and status with the requestor and with management Preferred experience 5 -7 years

Demonstrated Experience Exposure to using automated scripts for some of the processes involved in data extraction and loading. Should have done at least 3 implementation of ETL solution for reputed clients Should be process oriented and be able to define processes and documents. Should have strong knowledge on data warehousing concepts. Should have exposure to handling large volumes of data extraction and data loading in VLDB environment. Exposure to handling data from various sources (Flat files, Excel, Access, Databases etc..) Hands on experience in data cleansing, data auditing, data standardization/manipulation and data validation. Exposure to using automated scripts for some of the processes involved in data extraction and loading. Should possess strong analytical and SQL skills
