Cloud Data Center Architect

Client is building cloud services for a cloud services provider so the end product will be consumed via retail clients. So someone at the strategic level but that has done the build out as well.

Someone that has built a Data Center out specific to providing Cloud Services understands the consumption model of those services or SaSS and IaSS (how they get consumed by end clients), understands the underlying components that go into Cloud Services - Networking, Server, Virtual Server, Storage, Application Virtualization, Identity Mgmt, Physical and Virtual Monitoring and other components of the Cloud Eco-system. Technologies would include SAN, Cisco, VMware, Hyper-V, System Center, Citrix, App-V, VDI. Could produce a plan to build out the service after gathering requirements with the client. It is a short term contract position with the opportunity for this to transition to long term for the right candidate, but there would be break between phases.

Skills Required

• Strong enterprise cloud development experience Thorough understanding of, and strong experience with, Cloud Management Ecosystems from various vendors (Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco, among others) Knowledge of Telecom industry Experience in developing cloud services and consumption models SAN, Cisco, VMware, Hyper-V, System Center, Citrix, App-V, VDI
