About the role
What this Job Entails: • Access Control and CCTV Installation: o Lead the installation and configuration of access control and CCTV systems. o Ensure proper integration of access control and CCTV components for seamless functionality. o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation. • Service and Maintenance: o Conduct routine maintenance checks on access control and CCTV systems. o Respond promptly to service requests and provide timely resolution to technical issues. o Implement preventive measures to avoid system downtime. • Data Center Environment: o Apply knowledge and experience in working within a data center environment. o Familiarity with data center protocols and security measures is highly desirable. o Ensure compliance with data center policies and procedures. • Documentation: o Maintain accurate and detailed records of all installation and service activities. o Generate comprehensive reports and maintain internal documentation purposes. • Traveling: Traveling is part of the work requirement. Which include, but not limited to the following: Requires traveling between work sites within Johor state, to another state within Malaysia Traveling also into Singapore to support the work/project. Adhoc oversea assignment Data Center Embedded Technician Qualification Basic Qualifications • Education: o Minimum of a technical diploma or relevant certification in electronics, information technology, or a related field. • Experience: o 5-10 years relevant experience o Proven experience as a lead technician or service technician in access control and CCTV systems. o Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving. • Technical Skills: o Expertise in installing, configuring, programming, commissioning, and servicing ACS and CCTV systems o Knowledge of network infrastructure, networking protocols and data communication in a data center environment. o Basic scripting knowledge is a plus (Powershell, Bash) • Leadership Skills: o Ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians. o Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients. o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. • Problem-solving: o Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues. o Proactive approach to troubleshooting and system optimization. • Flexibility: o Adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules. o Willingness to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
