The Role AspenTech is looking for a talented and experienced Developer to join our Enterprise Operations Platform (EOP) organization. In this role, you will be a member of an Agile development team responsible for supporting the Agile development environment. This includes developing and maintaining the continuous delivery pipeline, end-to-end solution testing, DevOps mindset and practices, and coordination with infrastructure teams. As a member of the EOP development team, the delivery of next-generation industrial software solutions that provide a software-defined, data-centric, flexible platform for AspenTech’s diverse customer base. The team focuses on building highly performant data services that securely move and manage massive volumes of information. The EOP platform supports multiple operating systems and cloud‑native technology stacks, giving the team opportunities to work across a diverse set of modern technologies. This role’s contributions have highly visible impacts on the success and scalability of our software offerings to our customers. Your Impact Provide platform infrastructure and self-service automation to development teams. Debug integration and performance problems. Create solutions that leverage cloud technologies and edge deployment platforms. Actively participate with team members as part of a scaled Agile organization. Take high level strategic requirements and work with a team to refine them into actionable user stories with detailed acceptance criteria. Produce high-quality, reliable, performant, and fault tolerant code to meet strategic business objectives. Contribute to a culture of accountability and collaboration across a variety of support, development, security, and product teams. Continually demonstrate adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements. Stay current with industry trends and best practices around cloud native and Software-as-a Service technologies. Demonstrate effective communication skills as a participant in a variety of Agile ceremonies. What You'll Need 8-12 years of related experience OR an advanced degree with less experience. Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, services, architecture, and container orchestration. Practical, working experience with several of the following: Continuous Integration: Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions Cloud: Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform CI Tooling: Artifactory, BlackDuck, Snyk, Wiz Operating Systems: Windows, Linux Observability and Monitoring: OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor, Grafana Scripting Languages: Python, Bash, Powershell Databases: MongoDB, Postgres Language requirement: French: A1 (advanced) English level C1 (advanced), the position requires interactions with international clients. Preferred but not required: Edge Deployment Technologies: Zededa, NetFoundry Identity and access management: OAuth 2.0, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Data platforms and integrations: Inmation, Aveva PI Connect, Microsoft Fabric Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Lua JavaScript Frameworks: Angular, React Automated testing frameworks: Playwright, Cypress Architecture Expertise: Microservices, REST API Design Experience with Agile development frameworks such as SAFe or Scrum. Strong personal project management skills; able to be self-directed and capable of working effectively in an environment with a high degree of change. Strong technical leadership skills with a willingness to coach and mentor team members. Willingness to contribute ideas and solutions while honoring and supporting the ideas of others. Passionate about finding creative solutions to problems, and pride in well-crafted code.
