Apple is where people do the best work of their careers. Work that has an impact on individuals and the world. Work that is challenging and fulfilling. Work that doesn’t always feel like work. We are building the next generation of cloud infrastructure, software development and AI platforms that power some of the world's most beloved services ranging from Music, TV+, Sports, and App Store to emerging AI and GenAI-driven experiences. At the center of this effort, the Internal Tools HI design team is reimagining how Apple engineers build, ship, and scale the infrastructure behind them. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape that future: tackling complex interaction challenges at scale, setting design direction, and creating experiences that make thousands of engineers meaningfully more capable every day. We're looking for someone who's energized by hard problems, high craft, and work that ships to a technically sophisticated audience.
As a Senior Product Designer on the Internal Tools HI design team, you'll work closely with cross-functional partners to research, ideate, design, and prototype intuitive, user-centric solutions for Apple engineers. This role requires a sharp eye for precision and design system fidelity, along with a strong blend of information architecture, interaction, and visual design skills. You'll work under tight deadlines while incorporating input from design leadership and a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills, composure under pressure, and adaptability to rapid change are essential.
You'll help set the design direction for the team while contributing to process improvements and team growth. You're expected to leverage AI-powered tools throughout your process to accelerate research synthesis, generate and evaluate design directions, build prototypes, and reduce friction between design intent and shipped product.
