Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their best work. Together we create products and experiences people once couldn’t have imagined - and now can’t imagine living without. If you’re motivated by the idea of making a real impact and joining a team where we pride ourselves on being one of the most diverse and inclusive companies in the world, a career with Apple might be your dream job!

G&A Solutions Engineering (GSE) is IS&T's dedicated technology partner for Apple's general and administrative functions — including people, finance, facilities, legal, and security. The team builds and delivers integrated technology solutions that keep these functions running efficiently and securely at global scale. GSE also works closely with business teams to develop custom tools that improve productivity and deliver greater automation and consistency across G&A operations at Apple.

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, great ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job, and there’s no telling what you could accomplish. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager of Portfolio Delivery & Operations to play a critical role in driving strategy and execution across a complex, cross-functional portfolio set.

This is an exciting position essential to the successful delivery of projects and to operational excellence across G&A solutions engineering applications globally. In this role, you will be at the heart of how we plan, deliver, and continuously improve the programs and operations that power our teams. Your work will directly impact how effectively Apple delivers on its most important commitments — and your contributions will truly make a difference.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of EPMs, setting clear goals, coaching for growth, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Own end-to-end portfolio delivery across multiple concurrent programs, driving accountability, removing blockers, and maintaining momentum in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Partner with senior leadership to drive annual and quarterly planning cycles, translating organizational priorities into executable roadmaps, milestones, and resource plans

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve PMO processes, governance frameworks, and delivery standards that create consistency and scale across teams and programs

  • Establish and maintain intake, prioritization, and capacity planning frameworks that enable disciplined portfolio management and ensure the organization is investing in the right work at the right time

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and escalations across the portfolio; develop mitigation strategies and drive timely resolution before issues impact delivery commitments

  • Develop and maintain portfolio-level dashboards, metrics, and executive status reporting that synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for all levels of the organization

  • Manage budgets and resource forecasts across multiple teams; partner with finance and senior leadership to track actuals, flag variances early, and optimize allocation across the portfolio

  • Serve as a trusted partner and single point of accountability for portfolio health, delivery commitments, and escalation paths; build strong working relationships across engineering, product, operations, legal, and finance

  • Influence without direct authority across engineering, operations, and senior management, driving alignment and decisions through credibility, structured communication, and collaborative problem-solving

  • Champion operational excellence across both the PMO and portfolio delivery functions, continuously raising the bar on delivery predictability, team efficiency, and organizational maturity

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, or technical operations, with at least 3 years leading cross-functional delivery at scale

  • 2+ years of managing project managers.

  • Strong organizational skills; proven track record owning a portfolio of concurrent programs with competing priorities, complex dependencies, and diverse stakeholders

  • Experience synthesizing large datasets and ambiguous inputs into executive-ready summaries and recommendations

  • Experience managing budgets, resource plans, and headcount forecasts across multiple teams

  • Experience working with Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies; able to flex and adapt based on team and program needs

  • Experience in a technology company managing portfolios that span both software delivery and operational or infrastructure workstreams

  • Experience and strong proficiency with project and portfolio management tools

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; equally effective in a working session with engineers as in an executive business review

  • Background in IT planning & operations, enterprise systems, or platform/product delivery

  • Familiarity with financial planning processes, including budget forecasting and variance analysis

  • Experience building or maturing a PMO or delivery operations function

  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications
