You will design and develop applications used by our engineers to track hardware defects, collect diagnostic logs, and streamline the failure analysis workflow.

You will work in a state-of-the-art lab environment, lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions across various domains, including computer vision, natural language processing, and data infrastructure, to revolutionize our failure analysis methodologies and lab operations with unprecedented efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in using machine learning and AI to solve challenging problems. The responsibilities will include the following:

Lead the research, design, and development of advanced AI models in areas such as computer vision, vision-language processing and multi-agent systems. Design and implement comprehensive software pipelines for data augmentation, model training, deployment, and monitoring using CI/CD practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (material/EE/mechanical/CT…engineers) to integrate AI technologies into real-world applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Connect mobile applications to internal databases and cloud storage (e.g., OSS) using Python/Flask backends to ensure seamless data flow for hardware defect analysis. Ensure internal tools are highly reliable and secure by implementing JWT/RSA encryption, performing black-box testing, and maintaining high unit test coverage.

• BS degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, AI&ML, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in AI research, application and software development with multiple successful project deployments.

• Experience building and integrating backend services using Python (Flask) and managing local/cloud data storage (CoreData, SQLite, OSS).

• Proven hands-on experience in native mobile application development using Swift (SwiftUI, Combine) and Kotlin (MVVM, Jetpack).

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams (hardware, software, operations).

• A strong interest in or basic understanding of hardware product design, acoustics, or mechanical engineering is a major plus.

• Prior experience developing and publishing complete applications on Apple App Store.

• Ability and collaborate closely across different organizations globally.

• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and the ability to shift work scopes to meet business needs, with a strong aptitude for learning new techniques.
