Cyber Analyst (Network Sys Admin) - Senior

This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, and funding availability. We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Network and Systems Administrators to join our team of passionate individuals in supporting the Air Force’s Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Enterprise program in various locations. As a Network and Systems administrator, you will enable mission-critical ISR operations supporting Air Force and Joint warfighters worldwide through operating, maintaining and modernizing sensitive intelligence and information systems infrastructure. Essential Responsibilities: (describe the day-to-day) Serve as the local Air Force Sensitive Compartmented Information (AFSCI) Network (formerly JWICS), overseeing network operations for MAJCOM, NAF, Wing, and subordinate unit Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). Support all aspects of network service management to include user support, performance management, account management, security management, and fault management. Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot local base AFSCI network IT and network requirements, to include the following: Hardware and firmware updates, encryption devices, data networks, network drops, and network devices such as switches, routers, VoSIP, and firewalls. Administer the configuration and performance of network assets and ensure network infrastructure connectivity through network management toolsets and administrative functions Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of network switches, TACLANES, routers, computer data circuits, hardware installations, VOIP, DVTC, and related apparatus and peripherals required to network infrastructure. Provide technical solutions, including but not limited to, copper and fiber into a heterogeneous, manageable system for new and existing AFSCI network customers. Administer network IP address space, domain name system (DNS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP), and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure Perform help desk support of IT systems Perform and provide technical solutions, guidance, and expertise for a variety of software and hardware taskings, including installation, removal, maintenance, configuration management, and restoration for all systems-based Enterprise Core Services Deliver highly technical business, engineering, and security functions to provide analytical and implementation support for IC ITE services, Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E), and GOVCLOUD services across multi-domain networks. Coordinate with 16 AF/A6O, Air Force, DoD, and other government agencies to drive the successful development, integration, and ultimate accreditation of mission-critical systems, platforms, and applications. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: This position supports sensitive programs and requires strict adherence to DoD, Air Force, and IC cybersecurity, information assurance, and intelligence oversight standards. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Candidates must meet all DOD 8140 451 (SYSADMIN) Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) requirements for installing, configuring, maintaining and securing IT hardware & software. Additional Requirements Willingness to comply with all DoD, Air Force, and local security and conduct standards Ability to complete required training and maintain qualifications throughout the contract Availability for CONUS and OCONUS support as mission requirements dictate Contractor-provided training and certification upkeep (unless Government-directed) Ability to obtain and maintain required program, system, and facility access Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI eligibility Minimum Education: Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with at least five years of related senior-level experience Minimum Years of Experience: 10 years network and systems administration-related experience; at least part of the required experience must be within the past two (2) years. Required Certifications: Must meet DoD 8140.02 / DoDM 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification Requirements Appropriate DCWF role alignment (e.g., Cyber Defense Analyst, ISSO, Network or Systems Security roles) Certification eligibility prior to contract performance (tracked and reported per Government standards) Preferred Qualifications: Experience in DoD, Air Force, or Intelligence Community networks or systems administration, including AFSCI or AFDCGS network operations Knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, IC GovCloud) Familiarity with RMF, continuous monitoring, and security control assessments Experience supporting ISSO, Systems Administrator, or Network Security functions Completion of AF IC CYBER 100 Course (highly desired) Strong written and verbal communication skills Amentum’s health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and in the things you care about. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
