We are looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team of high-performing, passionate professionals. As part of this fun-loving and dedicated group, you’ll be at the heart of Agilent’s customer experience—delivering service excellence that sets us apart in the industry. With a background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a related scientific discipline, you will play a key role in supporting our clients across the region. Your responsibilities will include: Installation, configuration, and commissioning of advanced Agilent instrumentation (LC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, Atomic Spectroscopy systems, and more). Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal instrument performance. Advising clients on best practices, configurations, and service plans to improve performance and reliability. Be involved in complex, multimillion-dollar instrument deployments in laboratory environments. Longer term you may provide our customers with application-level support and training. Qualifications To be really successful in the job you should have a relevant Master Degree or University Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biology although your proactive approach, team spirit and eagerness to build strong cross functional relationships will ultimately drive your success. Both domestic and international travel plays a big part of this role, and it can take you to some incredible places. You enjoy being in front of customers and supporting them while demonstrating your technical expertise. Bachelor's or Master's Degree Post-graduate, certification, and/or license may be required. Up to 1–2 years of professional experience (including internships, part-time, or graduate roles) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a genuine interest in resolving technical issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicates clearly, respectfully, and in a timely manner Willingness and ability to travel frequently, with enthusiasm for visiting customers both locally and interstate Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
