Junior Data Engineer

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will contribute to building and optimizing data and AI infrastructure that enables scalable development of generative AI solutions. This role provides an opportunity to deepen your technical expertise while working alongside experienced professionals to deliver high-impact data and platform solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain infrastructure to support large-scale training and inference of generative AI models • Develop and optimize data pipelines and systems for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency • Support the implementation of infrastructure for AI application development and operations • Evaluate and recommend infrastructure and technology solutions aligned with business requirements • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute solutions to technical challenges • Assist in implementing operational controls and governance for AI platforms • Develop observability solutions to monitor performance, reliability, and usage of AI platforms • Continuously explore emerging technologies and contribute ideas to improve data engineering practices

Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 1 year of experience in data engineering, software development, or related technical roles • Intermediate proficiency in Python software development • Intermediate proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases • Understanding of data processing concepts and basic data engineering principles • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively • Effective communication skills to participate in technical discussions and solution design Preferred Qualifications (Optional) • Experience with data pipelines, data processing, and data engineering workflows • Familiarity with data access and transformation techniques • Exposure to cloud computing platforms and services • Knowledge of distributed systems or large-scale data processing frameworks About the Company / Team We work with one shared purpose: to deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity.
