Project Role : Engineering Services Practitioner Project Role Description : Assist with end-to-end engineering services to develop technical engineering solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives. Solve engineering problems and achieve business objectives using scientific, socio-economic, technical knowledge and practical experience. Work across structural and stress design, qualification, configuration and technical management. Summary: As an Engineering Services Practitioner, a typical day involves supporting comprehensive engineering services aimed at creating effective technical solutions that address complex challenges and meet organizational goals. The role requires collaboration across various engineering disciplines, including structural and stress design, qualification processes, configuration management, and technical oversight. Daily activities include analyzing engineering problems, applying scientific and socio-economic principles, and integrating practical experience to ensure solutions are robust and aligned with business needs. This position demands a proactive approach to managing technical tasks and contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes within the project scope.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of engineering solutions with project requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation and technical records to support engineering decisions and compliance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.
- Continuously update technical expertise to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Aircraft Maintenance Manual Authoring Guidelines.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Defense, Aircraft Maintenance.
- Experience in Creation/revision of Data modules for AMM, SRM and FIM for Aircrafts.
- Experience in doing proofreading.
- Experience in creation of illustration mock-ups using CATIA V6 and Engineering drawing.
- Ability to interpret and apply Technical publication standards like ATA100, Ispec2200 and S1000D.
- Knowledge in XML Authoring tools like Oxygen, Arbor text editor.
- Knowledge on Simplified Technical English (STE).
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance Manual Authoring Guidelines.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
