DevOps Engineer

Project Role : DevOps Engineer Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Summary: As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, while ensuring the security and reliability of systems. The position also includes collaborating with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance automation, contributing to the overall efficiency and robustness of the development environment. The engineer actively monitors and troubleshoots infrastructure issues, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the implementation of best practices in infrastructure automation and deployment strategies.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster continuous learning and improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with project requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools and automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.
• Ability to design, build, and maintain secure and scalable continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
