Summary: As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. The role includes creating efficient data pipelines and ensuring the seamless migration and deployment of data across various systems. Attention to maintaining data quality and implementing robust processes to handle data transformation and integration are key aspects of daily activities. Collaboration with different teams to support data-driven initiatives and continuous improvement of data workflows also form an integral part of the workday.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Document data processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain transparency.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
• Experience with designing and implementing extract, transform, and load processes to manage data migration and integration.
• Strong knowledge of data pipeline architecture and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data quality assurance techniques and tools to maintain data integrity.
• Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data processing workflows.
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing frameworks.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
