Custom Software Engineer

Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will spend your day designing, coding, and improving software components tailored to meet unique business requirements. You will collaborate with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions, applying modern development methodologies and frameworks. Your work will involve continuous refinement of applications to enhance performance and usability, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
• Maintain and update existing software applications to improve functionality and user experience.
• Document technical specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with application servers and deployment of enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with relational databases and writing efficient queries.
• Knowledge of web services and RESTful API development.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
• This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
