Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure that the software meets specific business requirements. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and follows agile methodologies to build scalable and efficient solutions. Throughout the day, there is a focus on continuous enhancement and adaptation of software to align with evolving business needs, ensuring high performance and reliability in the delivered products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration into project workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio.
• Strong experience in designing and developing custom integrations and extensions within enterprise software environments.
• Ability to work with modern software development frameworks and agile methodologies.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to software components.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Familiarity with software lifecycle management and version control systems.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Studio.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
