Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications tailored to meet organizational needs. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions align with business objectives. The position demands proactive communication and collaboration across multiple teams to drive the successful delivery of custom software solutions, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing challenges that arise during implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead the planning and execution of project tasks to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain alignment with goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM, Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR.
• Good To Have Skills: Program Project Management, Workday Project Management (PM).
• Strong expertise in configuring and customizing human capital management systems to meet diverse business needs.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate applications and ensure seamless functionality.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain system stability and performance.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
