Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Fiori / UI5 Team Lead to lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise-grade SAP user interface solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP Fiori and SAP UI5, combined with leadership capabilities to guide a development team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality digital solutions aligned to business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of SAP front-end technologies, experience in leading development teams, and the ability to drive solution design, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of SAP Fiori / UI5 developers in delivering robust and scalable applications. Design, develop, and support SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 applications, including freestyle and Fiori elements-based solutions. Translate business requirements into technical design and implementation approaches. Work closely with functional consultants, SAP backend teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders. Develop and extend standard SAP Fiori applications as per business requirements. Integrate front-end applications with backend SAP systems using OData services, SAP Gateway, CDS views, and related technologies. Review technical designs and code to ensure adherence to architecture, quality, and performance standards. Ensure effective defect analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during development, testing, and production support phases. Lead sprint planning, task allocation, estimation, and technical delivery tracking. Mentor and coach junior team members, providing technical guidance and knowledge-sharing support. Ensure compliance with security, usability, accessibility, and SAP development best practices. Drive continuous improvement in development processes, standards, and team capability. Required Skills and Experience Strong hands-on experience in SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, and JSON. Experience with OData services, SAP Gateway, and ABAP backend integration. Good understanding of SAP Fiori architecture, Launchpad, and app deployment. Experience with Fiori elements, custom UI5 applications, and application extension. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. Proven experience in technical leadership or team lead roles. Ability to work effectively in an Agile delivery environment. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments. Exposure to CDS views, annotations, and RAP/ABAP concepts. Knowledge of SAP security roles, authorization concepts, and deployment practices. Experience in large-scale enterprise transformation projects. Familiarity with UX principles and responsive application design. Leadership Expectations As a Level 9 Team Lead, the role is expected to: Demonstrate ownership and accountability for team delivery. Provide technical direction and support solution decisions. Lead by example in quality, professionalism, and collaboration. Build team capability through mentoring and coaching. Manage stakeholder expectations effectively. Contribute to delivery planning, risk management, and issue escalation. Education and Certification Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. SAP certification in Fiori/UI5 or related technologies is preferred but not mandatory.
