Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications to meet unique business requirements. The role includes working with modern development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous enhancement of software components are integral parts of the daily workflow, aimed at achieving high performance and adaptability in evolving technical environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and mitigate risks related to software development and deployment.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Application Security, Security Threat Hunting.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment techniques.
• Experience with threat modeling and risk analysis to enhance software security.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards relevant to application development.
• Ability to analyze and respond to security incidents within software environments.
• Skilled in integrating security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Application Security.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
