Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with team members and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering continuous improvement and innovation in software development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Windchill solutions, workflows, and business processes.
• Configure lifecycles, attributes, forms, and change management processes.
• Develop and maintain APIs, reports, and custom functionalities.
• Troubleshoot defects, perform testing, and provide production support.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver business requirements.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to development standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must Have Skills: Proficiency in ThingWorx Navigate development and customization
• Strong hands-on experience in PTC ThingWorx Navigate
• Ability to design and develop interactive dashboards using ThingWorx entities such as Mashups, Things, Thing - Templates, Data Shapes, Data Tables, and Groups
• Experience using ThingWorx to create dashboards that collect and visualize data from SAP HANA and PTC Windchill
• Strong understanding of ThingWorx–Windchill integration for accessing PLM data (Parts, BOMs, Documents, Change Objects) Hands on experience in JavaScript and SQL expertise

Additional Information:

• Develop and enhance Windchill functionalities using standard and custom solutions.
• Configure workflows, lifecycles, business rules, attributes, and user interfaces.
• Build and maintain integrations between Windchill and enterprise applications.
• Support change management, product structure management, document management, and release processes.
• Perform defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause resolution.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and deployment activities.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
• Create technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
