Project Role : Application Support Engineer Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Must have skills : SAP for Retail Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Key Requirements: CAR (Customer Activity Repository) Expertise- Mandatory: Experience in troubleshooting POSDTA transaction issues, MPR-related data processing, and batch/job monitoring is essential. In-depth understanding of CAR functionalities, data flow, and integration with retail systems. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively. Strong knowledge of SAP CAR architecture, POS transaction processing, data replication, and integration with SAP S/4HANA/ECC and POS systems is required. The role involves monitoring interfaces, resolving data inconsistencies, and ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations. SAP Retail - MPR (Merchandise Planning & Replenishment)-Mandatory. Functional understanding of SAP MPR architecture and processes Planning, forecasting, and replenishment concepts within MPR Integration between SAP CAR, POSDTA, BW, and MPR Support in incident analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification for few weeks till the time existing resource pick up this skill. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Capable of clearly articulating technical concepts to business stakeholders. Experience in preparing and delivering status updates, presentations, and documentation. Client-Facing Experience: Prior experience interacting directly with international clients, preferably in the retail domain.
