Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer specializing in DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Addresing) and F5 Load Balancer LTM. GTM The ideal candidate will have approximately 4 years of hands-on experience in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise traffic management solutions and core network services. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability, and robust security across our global application delivery and IP management platforms. Key Responsibilities Traffic Management & Load Balancing: Design, implement, and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM (Local Traffic Manager) and GTM (Global Traffic Manager) / BIG-IP DNS architectures. Configure Virtual Servers, Pools, Members, Monitors, Profiles, and SNAT. Core DDI Services: Administer, support, and optimize enterprise DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing) solutions (such as Infoblox, EfficientIP, or BlueCat). Manage IP address allocations, DHCP scopes, reservations, and DNS zone transfers/records. Automation & Scripting: Author and maintain F5 iRules and iApps to achieve advanced traffic steering, security mitigation, and custom application behavior. Domain & SSL Management: Manage global domain portfolios, DNS hosting, and digital certificates through registrar and security portals like CSC (Corporation Service Company). Ensure timely renewal and deployment of SSL/TLS certificates. Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning: Perform deep packet-level analysis using tools like Wireshark and tcpdump to diagnose complex routing, switching, application delivery, and DNS resolution issues. Lifecycle & Security Operations: Execute code upgrades, hotfixes, and backup operations for F5 appliances and DDI grids. Implement DNS security practices (e.g., DNSSEC, RPZ rules). Required Technical Skills & Experience Experience: Exactly or around 4 years of dedicated experience in network engineering, specifically focusing on ADC (Application Delivery Controllers) and core network services. F5 BIG-IP Suite: Strong hands-on experience with F5 LTM (VIPs, persistence, SSL offloading) and F5 GTM/BIG-IP DNS (Wide IPs, topology routing, data center failover). Proficiency in writing and debugging iRules. DDI Protocols: Deep understanding of core protocols including DNS (Iterative/Recursive queries, A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV records) and DHCP (Lease process, DHCP options, Relay Agents). CSC & Domain Management: Experience utilizing CSC for corporate domain management, DNS registrar operations, and enterprise SSL/TLS certificate lifecycles. Network Fundamentals: Solid understanding of the OSI model, TCP/IP stack, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and security concepts (Firewalls, ACLs).
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Enterprise Network Operations.
