Project Role : AI / ML Engineer Project Role Description : Develops applications and systems that utilize AI tools, Cloud AI services, with proper cloud or on-prem application pipeline with production ready quality. Be able to apply GenAI models as part of the solution. Could also include but not limited to deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, image processing. Summary: As an AI / ML Engineer, a typical day involves designing and building advanced applications and systems that leverage artificial intelligence technologies. This role requires integrating cloud-based AI services or managing on-premises application pipelines to ensure solutions are production-ready. The work often includes applying generative artificial intelligence models and exploring various domains such as deep learning, neural networks, conversational agents, and image analysis. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance AI-driven solutions is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring the delivery of robust and scalable systems that meet organizational needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
• Should have influencing and Advisory skills.
• Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.
• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.
• Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging AI technologies to enhance existing systems and processes.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business objectives and ensure successful project delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Experience with designing and deploying AI models in cloud environments and on-premises infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of generative artificial intelligence models and their practical applications.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and neural network architectures.
• Ability to develop and optimize conversational AI systems such as chatbots.
• Knowledge of image processing techniques and their integration with AI solutions.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 18 years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Data Science/AI, Mathematics and Statistics from premium institutes like IITs, IISc, IIITs and ISIs is required.
