We're looking for an experienced Field Technical Specialist to join our NSW/ACT team for a 12 months parental leave contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinical professional with strong CRM expertise who enjoys working directly with clinicians, supporting complex procedures, and driving positive patient outcomes. The Opportunity In this field-based role, you'll provide technical support during device implants, follow-up clinics, and troubleshooting activities across NSW and the ACT, with the majority of work occurring between Sydney and Canberra. Occasional interstate travel will also be required. Working closely with Territory Managers and healthcare professionals, you'll play a critical role in supporting Abbott's pacemaker, ICD, CRT, and leadless pacing technologies while building strong clinical relationships across your territory. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support during pacemaker, ICD, CRT, and leadless device implant procedures. Support post-operative follow-ups, device clinics, and troubleshooting activities. Deliver education and training programs for clinicians and hospital staff. Attend product and clinical training programs, including certification requirements. Partner with Territory Managers to understand customer needs and support business objectives. Maintain advanced product knowledge across Abbott's CRM portfolio. Assist with product launches and market development initiatives. Gather and communicate market intelligence, including customer insights and competitor activity. Ensure all administrative and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time. What We're Looking For Essential Experience & Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, Human Movement, Nursing, Cardiac Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years' experience working with Cardiac Rhythm Management products. Demonstrated experience supporting low and high voltage CRM device implants and follow-up care. Ability to participate in an on-call roster relevant to the position. Strong clinical troubleshooting and customer engagement skills. Desirable IBHRE certification. Experience supporting leadless pacemaker implantation procedures. The base pay for this position is N/A In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
