Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager __ ABB Robotics China is currently looking for a talented proposal engineer. This position requires the candidate to contribute to system project proposal to our innovative robot application solution. Your Role and Responsibilities : Work model: onsite Conduct laboratory automation requirement research, process analysis, and solution planning for customers in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, and third-party testing sectors. Independently complete laboratory automation system solution design, equipment selection, configuration lists, technical proposals, cost estimation and documentation making. Support pre-sales technical communication, solution presentations, customer Q&A, and preparation of technical documents for bidding and tendering. Collaborate with operation team, development team and sales team to complete technical coordination and ensure smooth project delivery. Track industry cutting-edge technologies, continuously optimize standardized solution libraries. Qualifications for the Role: Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields. 2+ years of work experience in laboratory automation, life science instruments, laboratory equipment, pre-sales solutions, or technical support. Familiar with routine laboratory processes such as sample handling, pipetting, reagent preparation, and analytical testing; knowledge of automated workstations and sample pre-processing systems is preferred. Excellent proposal writing, requirement analysis, customer communication, and presentation skills; capable of independently delivering complete solutions. Rigorous and responsible work attitude, strong customer awareness and teamwork capabilities; willing to accept short-term business travel. Strong interest in robotics and automation applications. Good English communication skills. Problem-solving abilities, time management, and teamwork skills. Fast learning ability. Positive work attitude, commitment to tasks, and strong results-oriented mindset. Able to adapt to business travel requirements. What’s in it for you?
